Reforesting with Sissai

From the beginning of Sissai we set out to find a way to generate development and promote the protection of the Amazon.

The Amazon is a very important region for Peru and for the world, however, thousands of hectares are degraded year after year, generating a very strong impact on our planet.

It is for this reason that the idea of ​​implementing a reforestation project in key areas of Madre de Dios was born, which is being carried out by Ramaz and the United Nations Planet Gold program.

This project will initiate restoration actions in areas degraded by mining in the field, preparing the selected areas for the installation of native forest species in the rainy season, which will allow this landscape to have a guaranteed ecological restoration trajectory.

Today each client at SISSAI can support this initiative by donating their packaging when buying a jewel in one of our stores, in this way we give each client the opportunity to be part of this beautiful project and support the protection of the Peruvian jungle.

Thus begins the first reforestation project in SISSAI, one more step in the construction of a brand with a clear objective: sustainability.
